What Is Harvest Swap'n'Share?
Swapping and Sharing is easy and free - bring your extra fruit, veg, herbs or plants and leave it in the harvest box or on the swap table and/or take some lovely fresh produce home with you too.
Both harvest share and swaps support local families and communities because any extra produce is adopted and distributed by local community organisations.
Use the Swap'n'Share Map to find a location near you (if there isn't one near you yet then get in touch and we'll help you set one up!).
Upcoming Swaps and Gatherings

Community Events
There are three types of community events we run at the moment (but we're always open to suggestions for more):
Seed Starter Sessions - where you can learn the no fuss 'Spring Roll' method of growing seeds and take home a tray of freshly planted seeds for your veg patch.
Harvest Swaps - bring some home grown fruit, veg or herbs (including seeds or plants) to share and swap it for other produce on the table.
Veg Walk'n'Talk Sessions - visits backyards to meet experienced veg growers, see their patch and share some goodies and ideas.
Check the calendar for the latest on our community events.

![]() | THU Swap, Shop & Donate @Charnwood ACT | 20 Cartwright St, Charnwood, Australian Capital Territory, Australia | Canberra City Care is hosting a Harvest Swap, Shop & Donate stall on Thursday mornings from 10am-12noon. We have over 300 families visiting our centre each week to access low cost food, clothing and refurbished IT equipment, and we’re excited to now have a large community garden that’s just getting underway. Our aim over time is to develop a combination of fresh produce that’s locally grown on the premises, as well as encouraging customers and community members to contribute fruit and vegetables from their own home garden, either as a Swap or a Donation. See you there. Danielle and the Team @Canberra City Care |
